Bransholme Trust Grant

£500 available for Bransholme charitable groups


Are you part of a not for profit groups and charities based in Bransholme or supporting its residents? Yes…your group is eligible to apply for up to £500!

The deadline to apply for the latest round of the Bransholme Trust Fund is approaching fast and local not for profit groups and charities based in Bransholme are being urged to apply for up to £500 before the deadline closes at 12 noon on Tuesday 26th July 2022.

Hull CVS is pleased to work in partnership with The Sir James Reckitt Charity and the Hull and East Riding Charitable Trust, to offer grants to voluntary and community groups that run projects which improves the lives of people living on Bransholme.

Activity that is funded through the Bransholme Trust should encourage people to become involved in their local communities, have a better quality of life, enable people of all ages to develop new skills and encourage people to become more active.

The grants themselves can be used to pay for things that a group needs to run its activities; this might include equipment that your group needs to do its work, an activity or event, pay for room hire, stationery postage etc.

As well as supporting Bransholme resident we need groups to provide the following in order for an application to be heard by the panel:adopted a Constitution (or similar document) Hull CVS can help you with writing your Constitution or set of rules.

  • A copy of your governing document or a set of rules if your group has them. If your group has not
  • A bank account in the name of the group

Head of Community Development at Hull CVS, Matt Wright, said: “Last year the Bransholme Trust Fund Panel agreed 15 applications from groups doing amazing activity in the area. We want to see even more groups benefit from the fund this year. So please apply or encourage groups you are aware of to apply so those groups can continue making the area a fantastic place for people of all ages to live.”
