Doreen’s, a Hull-based charity, officially opens the doors to their new Hub in the city’s North Point Shopping Centre. ‘Delivering our Range of Everyday Essential Needs’, Doreen’s provides support to struggling families within the area, as well as vulnerable groups such as victims of domestic violence.

North Point Shopping Centre in Bransholme, Hull, is marking a decade of spreading festive cheer with its free Santa’s grotto. Since its launch in 2014, the grotto has welcomed nearly 30,000 children, offering a magical Christmas experience without charge. This year, the centre expects to see at least 3,000 more children before the grotto closes for the season at 3pm on Christmas Eve.

North Point Shopping Centre, welcomed Cards Direct, a nationwide retailer specialising in greetings cards on Saturday 31st August.
Cards Direct has committed to a 10-year lease of a 2,130 square foot unit, joining a string of other prominent retailers at North Point, such as B&M, Greggs, and Bodycare.
